Boise, ID: Boise based Stratus Launch Marketing , the Idaho Department of Commerce and the Eagle-Star Tech Corridor hosted three Israeli and US East Coast-based companies on a mini-trade delegation to Boise during the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER) Conference in July.
The visiting companies were:
Pure Energy Corporation a bio-based fuels and chemicals company focused on bridging the fossil energy and the renewable energy industries with environmentally friendlier and commercially viable systems.
Metal Foundations a construction products company that offers a unique alternative to concrete foundations for structures such as cell towers, large signs, poles, and solar or wind projects. The company consults to large companies to help them map their “carbon footprint” and then find financially positive ways to reduce it. It is involved in alternative energy projects throughout the world.
“We’re very excited to have brought these companies to the Treasure Valley in order to help build business relationships in the areas of new customers, strategic partner alliances, operations, facilities, and finance and capital acquisition,” said Jay Longwell, President of Stratus. “Idaho Department of Commerce and ESTech really rolled out the red carpet to make this a very unique opportunity for everyone involved.”
The companies engaged in multiple meetings with business leaders, legislators and potential business partners in Idaho during their three day stay.
“One key to growing a more entrepreneurial Idaho is building bridges with good people everywhere,” said Norris Krueger, co-chair for the ESTech Entrepreneurship Committee. “Events like these really help lay the foundation for growth and business opportunities for Eagle/Star and the state of Idaho.”
This is the first of what is hoped to be several mini trade delegations to the area over the next several months. “We are hoping to bring over several Israeli technology companies that focus on the dairy industry next November,” said Longwell.
