This is an amazing little dress in a gold hued cream brocade with a matching jacket. The classic late fifties cocktail suit, it is really two outfits in one. The dress is a pretty dramatically cut A line skirted party dress. The skirt is cut on a wide angle and has horsehair though the hem and built in tulle to give it an almost sculptural quality. The bodice is kept simple and fitted with the prettiest matte satin double straps, that meet on the top of each shoulder. Over this is a classic little jacket that does up with hidden closures so the effect is very lady like and polished. It has a wide matte satin ribbon detail that runs around the waist so pretty!
